    Hi!

I've got the p150hm with the latest drivers for the usb 3.0. Still the usb 3.0 ports wont detect any device whatsoever, the usb 2.0 are fine.
What should be my next step of troubleshooting?

    Any help is much appreciated!

    Hey,

Quick and easy way to check if its driver related or if its RMA time

In your start menu there will be a group called Reneases Electronics with a USB 3.0 utility in it.

If that doesn't exist, you need to install the USB 3.0 drivers

If it does exist, click on it. If it shows everything is ok (it'll list a driver version and a firmware version) then everything appears to be ok. Give it a reboot.

If it does exist, click on it. If it complains it can't figure out your firmware version, thats not good. Reboot, and don't plug anything into that port, rerun the utility. If it now produces a firmware version then it should be ok.. If it still doesn't contact your reseller as you may have a bad USB 3.0 firmware flash. We've had it happen before. Sometimes you can just remove the battery and AC and leave it for a bit and it'll be ok, and sometimes you have to RMA it.

Problem solved, rebooting twice fixed it. Weird.

Thanks for the quick responses anyway.

Yea you probably have an earlier version of the USB 3.0 firmware.. It does that sometimes just kinda falls over.
