Intel is to release 35W Quad-Core Processors including the QX9300. The TDP reduction from the current generation 45-watt model would be a significant improvement for notebooks and would make me much more interested in such an upgrade option. Prior to my Clevo/Sager I had a Dell XPS M1710 which suffered greatly from heat related problems and hence I am very reluctant about the current generation 45 watt CPU products.

Anyone have any further news on these processors?

I think its a misprint in that source.. and a bit dated.

the mobile quad-core's all have 45w TDP.... no 35w.

very very old and totally false. qx9300 is a mobile laptop notebook...just not a desktop cpu.
