Has anyone been able to undervolt the P8400 cpu successfully? I've read that you can do it in RMClock but it won't actually apply the setting and that the voltages are locked. If someone has been able to successfully undervolt the P8400 in ANY laptop, I would love to hear how and a link would be great although I've tried looking on google already.

Welcome to the NBR forums.
RMclock needs to be updated to fully recognize and support the Montevina platform.
try Notebook Hardware Control, they have more updates. -
thanks. From all the information I've found lately, no one's been able to undervolt it and everyone is stuck at the stock voltage as if they've been locked. Hopefully it's been updated.
