I read a lot, i try a lot but unfortunately i can't do anything about error that i receive during flashing a 7970m.

I bought a 7970m for my old msi gx740 from "clevo seller" for poland, it was just not working in msi. So i decided to buy a notebook from netherlands "clevo seller" to put that "7970m from poland" and flash with vbios enduro off. Not possible, why?
    after atiflash -f -p 0 7970m.rom i get:

    Old DeviceID: 6800
    New DeviceID: 6800
    Old Product Name:
New Product Name: Clevo P270WM Wimbledon XT A1 mxm gddr5 300e/150m 0.9V OPM
    Old Bios Version:
    New Bios Version: 015.019.000.000.042817
    Flash type: Unknow SPI

    atiflash -i shows:
    asic-Pitcairn(slave
    flash-unknow SPI
    romsize-10000
    test-ffff

Anyone got prooblem like that? "atiflash -unlockrom" also not helping
I read something about moving vbios location on the card, apparently manufacturers use it to prevent modification of vbios.

The point is, is there any solution of this situation ?

    greetings!

It seems to me that the version of ATIflash you're using doesn't support the 7970M. Its just a guess as I had a similar issue when I tried to use Dell's version of ATIflash. Can you check what version of ATIflash are you using? Or better yet, if you havent already, just download the latest version from here.

There's a chance, that the vbios you are trying to use is simply incompatible with the board. Try using a different vbios. I can send you the one I've used with my GX740.

You have to use the latest winflash I believe, the ATIFLASH dos program still has the error in it that stops the EM series from flashing AMD cards.
