Is my Sager NP9262 so unstable because of windows (vista x64, 7 x64) Or is it because of a hardware issue?

I have had this computer for a year now, and the constant freezing, crashes, etc. are starting to get very annoying. It doesn't seem to have changed when I went from Vista to the Windows 7 RC (7100)

Does anybody else have problems with their NP9262? Mine often hangs when I waken it from sleep, which is probably the issue I am most annoyed with.

    Thanks for any help.

You should run HWMonitor to check all of your temps during general and heavy usage. If the problem has not changed when going from one OS to another then it is likely a hardware issue.

I suggest you post up your HWMonitor log after heavy usage or gaming for a while.

Hanging when waking from sleep could be due to old video BIOS.You can flash it to newer one.

Vista and Windows 7 have some problems with some drivers.

I didn't see any of these issues you described in either OS Vista/Windows 7, check your drivers and temps with HWMonitor.

Thank you everyone for your replies!

Here are some temps from HW Monitor from right after I installed it. (had been running the computer for a couple hours under little to average use)(just using firefox, illustrator, photoshop)

I will update my bios son and see if that solves anything.

    Your temps are fine.

Bad ram usually causes random crashes and stuff like that... I would recommend downloading memtest and test it out. http://www.memtest.org/

This happened to me recently... one of my ram sticks went bad somehow, so I had to remove it in order to reinstall windows (which was what I was doing in order to see if the crashing problems would go away :/)
