    Hello guys,
    for my p775dm3-g I bought a motherboard of the next model P775tm1, and a CPU I7 8700K.
I installed everything but the pc does not work, I turn on the keyboard lights up, but then it locks and the screen is always black.

    What could be incompatible?

Ok, but if you have the GPU file, why did not you send it immediately?
you advised me to do unnecessary tests on CPU, RAM, etc., when I had to go to a forum to understand the problem. anyway, I just want to fix my problem, so I wait for the file.
    thank you.

Did you ever get that new vBIOS @lvka81 ?

I'm in the same situation right now, my P775DM3 is dying and I'm about to order a P775TM1-G motherboard to replace it. Before putting it in I guess I'll need that vBIOS.

What will happen if I just put the card in with the old vBIOS? Will it not POST? Will it boot and install an OS but fail when you install the driver? Will it POST but with no display?

If you do not update the vbios, the pc will be unusable, because it does not even start the bios.
So before doing any action, update the vbios, then change motherboard and cpu and ram.

Thanks for the reply, will the updated BIOS work in the old motherboard? I mean, will it be... Update the BIOS then move it over because it won't work anymore in the old one?

unfortunately I can not answer, I've never tried. You still need to change the cpu, the ram and update the vbios.
If you have problems with the motherboard, if you want I have a motherboard for P775dm3-g updated with the latest bios at a great price.

Sorry, I meant to ask if the updated vBIOS would work in the old motherboard. I mean, after updating the vBIOS in the GTX 1080, will the P775DM3-G no longer work with that card?

If the vbios is from the 8th gen machines the machine won't boot.

Thanks for the reply, so if the new motherboard doesn't work for whatever reason, I'd have to blind flash the vbios back in the old motherboard?

Also @lvka81 did you get the vBIOS for the card to use it in the 8th gen board?

It wont boot with the wrong vbios, so no blind flashing.

Ah, that's a little scarier. I've actually gone a different route now and ordered a barebones P870TM1-G with one graphics card (seller agreed to take one out but still give me the dual-card cooling) so ideally I'll be able to use two but worst-case scenario I at least have a working machine with one graphics card.

I've sent my email so hoping to get hold of that vBIOS (and also hoping it really was just the motherboard causing problems rather than the graphics card).

EDIT: Oh, but here's a question. @Meaker@Sager What would happen if I put the older GTX 1080 with the older vBIOS in the new machine as a slave card? Would the machine boot but not be able to use it? Or still not boot? I'm wondering whether it'd be possible to flash it with the same vBIOS as the master card (back it up then reflash to the slave card).

1.If you want GTX 10 Series video card came with DM2/DM3/KM working on TM you need flash my provided vBIOS including GOP Update . Just select the same version of the label on card to flash .
TM's BIOS need GOP Version >= 0x30006 , and default GOP Version of DM's card is 0x30002 , so that's the problem .
2.You can flash my modified BIOS make DM2/DM3/KM support Coffee Lake CPU like TM with no BUG . http://forum.notebookreview.com/thr...kylake-kabylake-clevo-lga1151-laptops.821694/

Is this the vBIOS for the DM GTX 1080 to work in the TM systems? Can I flash it in my DM system then move the card to the TM system? If so, you're getting some serious likes.

What's the difference between the SLi and non-SLi versions?

1.You can flash this in DM and move to TM , I've tested .
    2. SLI version is for P870 devices , you can flash it to P7xx device without problem but if you flash non-SLI version to P870 device , it will lose SLI .

Thanks for that, do you mean I need to flash both cards to the SLi version to use SLi in the P870TM? Can I check if my current P870TM card is an SLi version?

EDIT: Sorry, this is getting off-topic now, I messaged you privately.

Yes you need flash both card . Just check whether they can SLI or not , the vBIOS version is various , I can't remember all of them .
