Personally I prefer both. But I cant have that, so again I have to settle for form and decent function (my GT75-8RG) or, a clevo that has no form but good function.

IF I an swayed toward a Clevo, I will be compelled to paint it myself (I already have the stuff) or have it Hydro Dipped.

I got a Clevo myself because I don't like rgb at all. I'd love to see one of those paintings

I don't like "too much" RGB, keyboard back lighting is all I really require from a Laptop.
This will be my last computer purchase for some time unless something catches on fire...

So I am going to be a bit more picky, my GT75-8RG is screamin along just fine.

Now back to Ghost Recon Breakpoint Beta and OH YEAH ULTRA all the way so far!

Lighting conditions where my desk is makes a backlit keyboard pretty important. Accent lighting is fun and I light up everything else in my life so I'm not opposed to it in a laptop, but it's a nice perk rather than a must-have.

But you dont know that MSI GT75 is modified from Clevo barebone. It is Eurocom Tornado F7W :)

The Tornado F7W/GT75 is not a Clevo barebones.

Despite similarities between Eurocom laptops and Clevo, the Eurocom company's CEO told that this is an "Eurocom-made system". It is Eurocom barebones. MSI used these barebone for GT73, 75... I mean that someon uses MSI and disparage clevo bad designs, but they don't know that MSI has used Clevo and eurocom designs for their products :)

That’s nonsense. The Tornado F7W is simply a Eurocom branded MSI WT75.

Ofc. The older Tornado F5 was also an MSI MS-16L13 barebones.

Eurocom is not big enough to get a high performance totally custom machine produced for themselves and themselves only.

Either way, all of the blue sky P750/P775/P870 laptops are incredible in my eyes. Very upgradeable machines. I would much rather have the clevo mxm laptop, than a msi mxm form factor just for popularity and it is more user upgradeable.

Yeah, unlike MSI at least Clevo keeps their MXM form factors the same within GPU generations, let alone across generations.
