    hi guys i have successfully updated

    BIOS ver 10 and EC 09 on my p170hm...now i want to remove my gtx 470m and install gtx 680m physically....but before that

    1. I want to sweep all my old drivers and clean it up for gtx 470m so how to do it?

    2. also whats the most updated and stable driver i can install for gtx 680m in p170hm ? any link and instructions please?

    because idont want my laptop to freeze or the screen to freeze after installing drivers for gtx 680m

    please help me out guys...by the way the vbios for gtx 680m is 80.04....29

    Since you are installing new nvidia drivers doing a super clean install is not required.

    You go into the c drive where nvidia drivers extracted itself go into international and then driver folder where all the inf files are. Then copy/paste the new inf in there(overwrite old file) and then retry the setup.exe on previous folder. It should now work and voila your good to go and install the new drivers :)

    If you are running windows 8 you need to advance restart with signing disabled too.

    running win 7 ..installed 331.65 with modded inf :)..

    just one more q...i cant flash the vbios for gtx 680m in p170hm any more right ? so can i oc the gtx 680m by how much 80.04.29 bios?

    You can edit the existing bios but you can not use a later revision.

    MSI 80.04.33.00.24 is also compatible with P1xxHm model....

    Oh well that's good too then.

    As a general rule editing your own bios is always the safest option.
