    Hi,

    I have a Sager NP8690 with 8GB RAM and SSD and 5850 Graphics Card.

    I wanted to inquire about upgrading my Graphics Card.

    What options are available for upgrading my Graphics card. I can go NVidia or ATI.

    Any helpful hints are welcome.

    If you have USB 3.0 (MoBo vr. 5.0) it can support 470m. 485m not sure of but they cost lots. But how much improvement are you expecting and at what price? Have you OC'd the 5850m?

    You can upgrade to the 470m, even withouth usb 3.0.

    I have the 460m WITHOUT usb 3.0 and it works without any problems (although a 460m may not be a worthwhile upgrade to a 5850). I upgraded from a 280m. It downclocks correctly and everything.

    Only the 470m was said to have issues with the older board that has no USB 3.0.
