    Hello everyone

What kind of issues might I bump into swapping out the 870dmg to the 870km1 motherboard ?

    I have

    2 X GTX1070 OC

    4K replacement display

    The display cable

And only the I7 6700K along with all the original parts from my 870DM G

Huh? What's the story with your GPUs, two Clevo 1070 MXM boards don't fit in the DM chassis

Possibly a different brand of card? But then the KM series of heatsinks would not fit.

There was a thread about this I think? There have been some subtle changes over time.

on the main motherboard i can only see 3 issues that could be worked around with a dremel tool provided the board actually fits inside

So everything went well just the power switch daughter board needed to be replaced iirc. Biggest issue I had was both fans needed to be plugged in at the same time otherwise the system would shut down after a few min ... Then both GPU's needed to be the exact same and there are many many different versions of the GTX 1070 MXM I still don't have 2 that are equally yet so I guess you could say it's a ongoing project . I do have 3 different types of GTX 1070 MXM in my possession. Mehhhh
