    Can I upgrade my RAM? Would it be worth it?

    If so can you please suggest some RAM to upgrade too?

    4GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz

    Depending on what you do is whether or not it would matter. 4 gig is typically plenty for normal users. Adobe, video editing, and others CAD software could use more depending on their needs but also the CPU plays into those as well.

    I dont mean the amount I am sorry, I mean the type - can I go to 4gigs of DDR3 1066 or even higher?

    What about DDR5?

    No I cant upgrade, or no it wont make a difference?

    Why can't I upgrade anyway? Same slot type.....

    DDR3 modules are not physically compatible with DDR2 slots.

    oh bummer. oh touche 200pin vs. 204 pin bummer.

    So is there any upgrade for my RAM? I don't know what PCxxxx number mine is, or anything.

    You have PC2-5300 modules. The only upgrade path you have is installing more than 4GB of memory.

    Soviet is correct, DDR2-667 (PC2-5300) is the fastest speed RAM that this machine can take, and it's perfectly good for anything you want to throw at it.
