    Upgrading X8100 graphics card to 7970m, is possible?

    I have a x8100 laptop with a single 5800M graphics card.
    Can i upgrade to 7970m ?
    Can i use any 7970m or i need a special card ?

    No, you cannot upgrade to a 7970M as far as I am aware. For future reference, when upgrading the GPU on any Clevo machine, you need a Clevo card (most commonly found on eBay).

    Where did you read that prostar? I believe it can be with the HM edition vbios 7970M.
