Tbh 5 milimeters is alot. why does it bend like that? It should not. I had one msi 1070 at one point on my DM but it sat straight.
As a cpu you can go for a 9600k also, more than enogh power for a 1070.

I'll take a picture with it. I'm starting to think it could have been permanently bent from maybe its use in the original GT72VR it came in or my Alienware, I'm looking for some past pictures of the card to compare. I'll try to take a pic of the card later.

I might do a 9600k, but if I have 6 cores I'd like to have hyperthreading, but if I find a 9600k for cheap then I'll jump on it.

The card bend downwards, towards the hard drives. There is nothing under it but having support may actually fix it if the card isn't permanently bent.

A decent thermal pad behind wont hurt and could help stabilise it.

Just out of curiosity, are there any other fans that are better than the stock fans? I know the DM is limited by the 5v supplied by the fan pins, but I would like some fans that could move a little more air.

There are some turbine style fans for the p870 but not for the DM. from what i know there are only the 12v fans. @ViktorV maybe knows more.

This isn't a very good picture, but you look really hard you can see the bend:
It starts right after that visible R22 coil

And @runix18, will you be creating an account on one of the three other forums or are you sinking with this ship?
