Ok since most recent laptops feature usb 3.0 and since there are limited number of usb ports on a laptop, and since my usb needs are big i was thinking of a device that connects to usb 3.0 and feature multiple "full speed" usb 2.0 ports.

Since the theoretical speed of the 3.0 5gb\s and the 2.0 speed is 480mb\s such a device could theoreticaly house 10 usb 2.0 full speed ports.

Most hubs with multiple usbs are connecting to a 2.0 port and the speed of the 2.0 is divided between multiple usb in the hub.

Currently i have a usb powerd hub with 4 ports connected to a 2.o port. The hub is also 2.0
In the hub i have a 1.5TB hdd on usb, a printer, logitech z cinema, and a logitech g13 is gonna arrive.
I don't know if these devices are gonna flood the single usb port in my laptop, (i have a hunch they do, read below) but having 10 full speed usb 2.0 out of a single 3.0 port sound nice in my opinion.

Also, since now i don't have the g13 and there is a free spot in the hub, when i connect the mouse in the hub (logitech mx 1100) the mouse lags and i have to keep it connected to a port in laptop. That's when i realized that maybe the bandwith from a single usb is not enough for such big of a number of devices. Also when i connect the stick to the hub it gives me a device is not recognized error so i have to connect it to the laptop itself.

Because apart from the devices listed, i also have a usb bluetooth module, a usb mouse, a usb memory stick, and a usb data cable for my phone.

And there are many more things out there that i would probably get if i had the dough, and the usb ports in the laptop seem to just not cut it.

USB ports don't have the issue of port number because of bandwidth. It has to do with power usage. One USB 3.0 port can only provide 900mA of power...each USB port needs 500mA of power. You do the math.

This is not an issue as the hub is self powered. My hub it's plugged to the wall. Like all other stuff.

    I have plugged
    1)Laptop
    2)Logitech z cinema
    3)Printer
    4)Usb Hub
    5)Hdd Rack
    6)Router
and i need one more for phone charger :)

There is the issue of power for the unpowered usb hubs. You will never see a usb hub power exceeded on a powered usb hub.
