    Is it possible to output the sound of a P150EM using a standard 3.5 headphone cable WHILST using a hdmi cable, which is plugged into an ext. Monitor(without speakers)

    will the hdmi audio output get "prioritized" somehow?

    i really dont want to buy a dvi cable...

    Did you try setting the speakers in the Playback device list to default device. I don't see why it shouldn't work.

    You can set the default audio device that you want to use in the windows audio properties.

    i havent actually got my laptop yet, the thought just occured me and i got scared :D

    thanks ill try that with the windows audio property on a different machine
