Basically I want to output my PS3 to my NP5790. All I have right now are the basic cables that came with the PS3, and I don't have a TV Tuner card for the 5790, if that would matter.

So can it be done, can it be done relatively easily, and if so, how? Thanks.

I am not sure if this will work but try using a DVI to HDMI converter.

Well I've decided instead to get the AVerMedia hybrid expresscard ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16815100022) but a friend of mine said that, at least with TV tuners he's used in the past, playing a console with them is sometimes laggy, and depending on the game could be a huge problem. Is this still a problem with TV tuners, especially the AVerMedia one, or should I be able to play games decently?

Everything I've read says that TV-tuners lag behind by a few seconds as it has to go through encoding.
