Greetings all, I was wondering if anyone had success running this game with this processor. I have checked the show FPS, and it states that the bottleneck is with the processor. However, it isn't using more than 30 to 40 percent of the processor's power. So, I can only assume it is just not optimized to run on my rig. I am very happy with my new Sager NP9370, but I was hoping to see some improvement on performance with Planetside 2. Every other game that I have runs fine, and is not an issue. Does anyone have any experience with this game with the 9730? What is the average FPS you get in game, and on what detail setting?

    I have a Sager 9370, with a i7 3630QM processor, 8 gig of Ram, and a 7970m graphics card. I am running Win 64 Ultimate.

Planet side 2 has underutilization issues itself, its the game not you. It's not optimised properly. What you could try was force turbo mode with throttlestop and see if that helps.

There is a new patch being released. I am hoping this addresses the performance issues.
