    Hi,

I want to update the VBIOS of the nVidia Quadro FX 2700M in my Clevo M860TU.

the problem that i don't know who is the manufacturer of the GPU Card. I know that nVidia does manufacture only the Chips and not necessarily the whole GPU card. and for updating the VBIOS i have to download it from the GPU card manufacturer website, nVidia doen not provide the update.

from GPU-Z, i can see "Subvendor : Clevo/Kapok Computer (1558)", but i'm not sure that this is the manufacturer of the GPU card, and any way Clevo website does not provide any VBIOS, and Kapok i googled it but found nothing.

So any one has an idea where Clevo take their GPU cards from?

    Thanks

Clevo gets their cards from Nvidia just like everyone else. May I ask why you want to update the BIOS on your GPU?

Unless a new bios is to fix any bugs or something, I see no point in updating it.

So you say that Nvidia is the same one who manufacture the chips ans the whole GPU card? in Nvidia website they tell "You will need to contact your graphics card manufacturer for the latest custom BIOS for your graphics card"

Why i want to upgrade VBIOS, because i think it's out-dated 26 august 2008. and i prefer to update any firmware just to be sure that i have the support of any newer design configuration.
