Yep Vista is bad. I forget why I use it nowadays. It's not smart, like a bullet. I've never met someone smarter than a bullet.
But M$ has the market by its b*lls. 90%+ of all computers use it, and don't forget the company's that would have to switch and there ignorant admins that don't know any Linux. .6% of desktops use it right now, with a 50% increase of last year =D. But the problem is, is to take down the giant you'd need the cooperation of most all software companies. The masses don't want to see the word "Terminal", "Bash", or "Command Prompt". And the majority don't know how to if they screw up X or something that drops them down into one of those they don't know how to fix it. Also the software just works. Linux is getting better but the majority just want to double click and go. Though Ubuntu works like that mostly, they don't want to search for software that works for them. They want to go out get Office and be using it within the hour of poping it in there CD Drive. Along with that as long as Video Games are Window's based the We'll keep using it. Servers already use Linux in a majority. Then next step is to get the big names to do so for items other than there server software(Games). OpenOffice replaces word, 1 up... Nero's starting. 2up. You can mostly replace everything but still... It's not always easy. Wine? Can you say Command Prompt.
At least Dell's starting to give options. Just it needs to be on the high end PC's also not just there lower end laptops.

Erm... This anti-vista thread will get heated and if you want to have a spirited discussion over vista we have plenty of threads scatter in OT and the OS forums. I'm just going to close this one.
