I bought my laptop a few years ago and am curious of your opinions of the resale value right now as I might sell it to get a desktop. Originally I paid about $3600 for it. Its got the intel core 2 quad 2.83 ghz processor. 4.0 GB ram, Dual Nvidia 9800M GTX video cards in SLI for a total of over 2 gigs video ram, and the upgraded 17" 1920x1200 HD screen. The laptop is still in perfect working condition and I have never had any problems with it. It will also be selling with Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit. Thanks for your help

    I'd say $1300 is fair.

I don't know, maybe 1,000 - 1,300. Sager isn't a super well known brand, which makes it harder to sell at a good price. You can pick up an Asus machine with 2.0 GHZ Duo, GTX 260m and 4 Gigs of RAM with a 1080 by 1920 display for around 700 - 900 dollars on eBay. You're machine is more powerful, but I'm guessing it would sell for a fairly similar price. I'd try to sell for 1,300.
