Just curious, where did you get the v1 Prema BIOS? I've been trying to get a hold of it for my P150SM-A, but I can only find the v2 and I've read that people have had issues on v2 with the 800m series cards.

    Thanks,
    M

Got it, thank you! As far as the vBIOS goes, I got mine from techinferno. There's a thread titled overclocking GTX 870m or something like that. In that thread, don't use the first one Klem provides. He offers a second version on the same page. That's the one I used and it bumped my scores up nicely without any additional tweaking. My temps didn't hardly change either. It just runs better now. I'm getting ready to do the Prema mod, but still not sure if I should at least try the v2 first and then revert back if it's not working as it should. I don't like to flash any more than is necessary though.
Do you know what changed form v1 to v2?
I'm trying to unlock some options that will allow me to run OS X as a dual boot on this system. If all the BIOS options are essentially the same, that would be ideal and I will just go for it will v1 and call it a day.

I flashed my BIOS to Prema mod v1 today and it went well! A couple things I wasn't expecting was the fans went full blast from the time I entered "step1" until the time it finished. It's all good now, I just wasn't expecting that. Aside from that, I didn't realize we had to make a choice between "Silent mode" or "Cool mode" when setting up the BIOS. I selected Cool Mode since I want to make sure my PC lasts a while, but now I kind of wish I selected silent mode. I'm going to try and find the specifications of each. With that said, I am VERY happy with this BIOS! I'm also looking forward to having a dual boot OS X/Win10 laptop!

    Thank you Prema!!!
