Flashing different vBIOS usually causes HDMI problems, not fixes them.

Except that the 8800M GTX came out before clevo had HDMI, therefore its vbios doesn't support it whereas I think the 9800M GT vbios (same physical card) might support HDMI.

Here is a 9800m GT vBIOS that works with M570RU/TU.
    Hope it will help!
Flashed a 8800m GTX to 9800m GT with it without any problems.

I got it all set but when i try to flash I get wrong Device ID. How do I change the device ID? Should i change the device ID on my card or the Device ID on the 98gt.rom?

    Hello,

    this is normal.
    just type
    nvflash -4 -5 -6 98gt.rom
and then say "yes" or "y".
Even if you modify your OWN Bios and flash that it will say "wrong device ID".

Ah ok I just tryd to change the Device ID with Nibitor on the 98gt.rom from 060B to my ID that is 060C and now I got this.

Warning: Firmware image PCI subsystem ID (10DE.063A) Does not match adapter ID PCI Subsystem ID (1558.0481)

I'm gone set back the device ID on the 98gt.rom. :X

Yes, but I think the driver for the 9800m GT will extract himself from the 8800m GTX driver. Just see what I mean at next boot ;).

Will there be any gain or loss in speed with the bios shift?
