ThinkPads have not been made out of Titanium since the 1990's..

The dual screen with the stencil on the palm rest.. thats a note worthy piece of hardware.. other than that.. 2002 800MHz hardware marked up X's 2.. I will pass.. even HP has 4 dimm 16Gb Ram @ 1067MHz.. HP? Seriously? HP is running ahead of IBM in hardware? yeah and its not my fault becuase I mentioned it.. so dont pull a Frank, Mandrake.

Alienware.. is NOT a Dell..

DDR3, DDR5 and / or other... A 300lb Gorrila.. is a 300lb Gorrila with 3 banannas or 5 banannas in his hand.. Your rig.. is more like a 10,000lb Gorilla so the the amount of banannas being held are even less important.

Raid 0 SSD's with read times in the 500mb per second realm.. Dude? seriously.. w32 Prime marks.. I will guess and say sub 10 seconds.. all day. and I was being conservative with the sub 10 second prediction.. for the record.

I dont see your thinkpad.. pulling down a sub 60 second w32 Prime mark..

My HDX with locked Bios can run w32 Prime in the sub 20 second range...

So.. Mr. Mandrake... why will you not tell us about your discount? Did Frank hook you up? and the rest of us must suffer? tell the truth..

Oh and yes I think this experience from Garandhero still shows Sager isn't so good with customer service. The first thing I saw people tell me when I was looking for a Sager was to go to the resellers, like xoticpc, powernotebooks.com. ,etc. instead of Sager. You should go deal with a reseller. Even if you're asking a rebate over a low priced laptop that can't go lower, the reseller will kindly explain that it cannot be done, and will, if you want, give alternatives. So even if you don't get the laptop and rebate, you're still happy the rest of the day.

As a NOOB! I havew never heard terrible things about Sager.. But I have heard Great things here about some of the re-sellers.. Justin.. People make fun of him some times becuase he is a salesman.. but he is a good sport.. I have visited his boards just to nose around and see what people have to say.. and I do NOT know Justin or anything like that so before anyone says Bla, Bla, Bla... But from what I have read.. and seen.. they guy is on top of what he does.. and I get the feeling he loves computers or used too.. becuase he seems to know his stuff.

Sager.. being a lager corporate run org. will be a little more cold to the touch.. that is to say they will be less personable.. Frank.. is a TOOL!

Frank should have the skill set to explain pricing points..
