At XoticPC website for customization of the D900F notebook, it is shown that the D900F also works on the ViDock2 external GPU device.

    ViDock2 website is below :

What I would like to know is, how much of an improvement does such an external graphic card option provides?

For example, in the D900F with a GTX 280m graphic card and a I7 2.66Gz cpu I can acheived about 30FPS in Crysis on High Settings.

Will the I7 D900F notebook with the I7 2.66Gz cpu and this ViDock2 device give me a much better frame rate performance and if so, by how much?

Will I be able to hit 50 FPS on Crysis on the very high setting?

Hope to hear from you soon.

Omg I just realised they started to offer these vdock2 with their laptops!! That's pretty cool. But no one really tried any of these since it's freshly new. You could be the first one to test it ;)

    There was a discussion this vdock2 recently : http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=390634
