    I tried that way, but doesen't matter. After rebooting is all the same, it freezes. It's not a hardware issue, I eliminated that because it doesnt't freeze in Linux, and with the 6.14.10.0078 version of the drivers. I run PCmark 2004 for 20 hours without any problems so I think is a software problem.
    I used latest VIA drivers for the chipset, audio, LAN but video issue is still bothering me.
    I forgot to mention that every time I reformated the hard drive.
    Still thank's for answering my post.

    Everithing is fine there. But I made some experimentation. It always freezes when there is some transparency efects in windows GUI, click on the start menu ect. If I turn off the efects,more time needs to pass before it freezes, around 2 min or so.
    As for the old driver version thats is working at least stable but it also have issues:
    1.when I change resolution from native to 1024x768(or any below) 16bit color- freeze;
    2. Games in 16bit color in every resolution freeze again;
    3. The efects in WinXP (transparency, animations ) are slow.
    In 32bit colour the problems aren't so appperent, and I least can USE my notebook.
    ALL THIS is resolved in newer versions, and this is the reason why I want to update the video drivers but I am just out of luck.

    Friend told me that solution is to FLASH my BIOS. But I went to Clevo web site and there isn't any BIOS available for download.
    So I need a link where to download from.
    Thanks.
