    Video and music skipping

    I don’t know if anyone else has encountered this or not, but i figured it was worth asking.

    I have a M860tu and when i play a YouTube videos or hulu it just lags like crazy. and the voice is choppy.

    I have updated all drivers; I have reinstalled windows vista ultimate. I have read that this is a vista issue and I followed all the windows steps to fix this with no luck. Maybe it’s hardware?

    Anyone have any thoughts?

    If it is hardware, you may want to check the RAM or the hard drive first. You can pick up this handy little tool to help out. The bootable CD comes packed with almost every diagnostic tool you could think of. Try doing memtest86+ to test the RAM or one of the diagnostic tools in the hard drive section.

    Also, if you're unfamiliar with ISOs and bootable CDs, you can try the free version of HDtune to test the hard drive.
