I am having a problem with 175.8 driver not reseting properly on my d900c.
On occasions, like sometime coming out of hibernate, the driver will be reset by the Vista (I think) "the video driver fail to respond...blah blah blah"
After this the system seems to be working on only one card (3dM06 @ 9k)
The only way I have found to make it work in full SLI steam is to reload Vista (X64 Home Premium)

I have tried uninstall, going into safe mode and all, but to not avail  This seems to be true for all drivers except for the 177.39 I tried yesterday. This new driver, besides not needing to reboot for changing SLI modes, will reset the SLI ok. The problem you ask, well for me it score only ~14.7k instead of ~16.1k in 3dmark :(

Anyone have a procedure that worked I could try or even retry to get older drivers (pre-177 I suppose) to reset properly

i dont think you can get a score of 16k in vista mate.. 13-14k in vista is all bout we can do on our machines, 16k is possible with the XP.

Your almost right, my best is at 16091 (I fixed the typo) a one time only with OC pushed beyond stable, but it worked long enough, I'll search for the screen capture when I get back home, but here a 15.4 I found on my usb stick.

    I regularly hit mid 15Ks w. QX9650, SSD-RAID, SLI 88's at 660/1600/950.

So to be on the up and up, with 177 I hit 14.7 instead of 15.5
