    Hello,

I'm often getting this message "Virtual memory insufficient, restart the application" when I'm playing.
I read to increase the file paging but it's not working very good.
Do you know which size this file paging should be?
I have a clevo p150sm with windows 8.1 64bit and the game is not installed in c: but in a disk partition.
Do you have any suggestions? Thanks

Usually letting windows handle the size should be sufficient. Having the program on another partition should not be an issue either. What Game, ram amount and page size are you at?

How big if your page file right now, did you change it or leave it at the default Windows setting.

If you have enough HDD space that having a larger page file doesnt matter then you can make it larger then size it down as you run out of space on the HDD and need it for other reason.

Page size is usually 2x the ram size. That may be a bit much but you could expand it. The other issue too is if you use the resizable page size the system may be doing just that and using valuable resources to keep those frame rates up.

Thanks for the advice, I 've set it between 4 and 10 gb and it's working now.
The game still shutter and has fps drops in certain stages, in other stages it goes very smooth with stable 60fps.
I think it's just Mortal kombat x to be poorly optimized.

Great to hear that fixed it. As you mentioned the FPS drop could be just the game considering you're getting 60fps most of the time.

Does it only happen in that game?

I would not be surprised, it's always worth testing with other programs if you suspect a hardware issue.
