    Vista 64 bit with SLI?

    I'm really close to purchasing my NP9261 from Xoticpc.com and I have a question. Is Vista 64bit capatible with Dual 7950 GTX in SLI?

    why dont you go with XP 64, probably alot more driver support and better just because its XP. i think SLI is in xp64 but not sure about vista64

    i wanted Vista just so i don;t have to upgrade lol. I just want to make sure that vista an even run in SLI

    There is probably the same amount of driver support for Vista 64 and XP 64. I'm not 100% sure, but do a little research and you should be able to find an answer. If I were you I would definitely find out from Sager if they support drivers for XP 64, because they don't offer that as an OS when you order one.

    There's no support for XP64 lol.

    And yes Vista is working with SLI. It's been that way since August. Search the forums and you'll see test results with the drivers from Clevo website.

    From what Justin @ Xoticpc posted, SLi is working quite well with Vista 64 for both the 7950 and 8700 cards. here is the thread where he posted pics with 3DMark06 results. Just scroll down the page till you see his post.
