The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Volume hotkey problem with Creative X-Fi Notebook

    I just got this today but noticed something weird where whenever the card is in, the hotkey for decreasing volume only works one notch and then won't go any lower, but increasing volume works fine.

    Doesn't matter where you start the volume slider it will only go down one notch, and then go up to the max, and then down just one notch again.

    I'm using the April '09 beta driver from Creative on Win XP Pro SP3.

    Anyone else had this problem?
