Whenever the fan kicks on and I move the laptop the fan collides with something that makes a skipping noise. I can't tell what it is....I loosened the fan cover that had no change and it happens when I have the main bottom cover on. I had this problem with other models, but not as bad... just want to know if this is a normal issue....

I haven't really heard of somebody noticing this before so I'm pretty sure it's not that common. Might be a loose bearing causing the blades to hit. Does it have some give to it?

Yeah pretty much...it's when the blade hits the fan cover towards the exhaust side..

And I doubt it's something loose bc temps are fine... I can check though...

Even if nothing is loose, those fans spin at very high speeds. Flipping it over or on it's side puts the balance of the fans off even if only momentarily and will cause that noise until they correct themselves. Shouldn't be a cause for concern, just avoid flipping it around while the laptop is on. Same is true if you have a disk in the ODD or mechanical HDD's, moving parts are best left undisturbed while moving.

Yah it's amazing when I see people twirling around with active laptops and I know full well all the mechanical parts they have in there, especially spinning HD platters. If you've never seen it or tried it personally, should go watch a video of someone holding a spindle with a spinning bicycle wheel, then trying to rotate it, and the same thing happens with HD platters. They're smaller and lighter but they're spinning much faster, the torque is just amazing, that manufactures produced devices that hold up to this for decent amounts of time.
