I ran Malwarebytes this morning and I am sure that this is a false postive, but just the same please check and see if you have Service.exe in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Hotkey\Service.exe
Sevice.exe has a created date of 9/4/2009 @ 1:03 PM.
The last time I ran Malwarebytes on 3/20/12 it did not flag this file.
I am sure that this is part of the Hotkey application, but I would like to get it verified. On the web I found that there was a trojan back in Windows ME and XP that was named service.exe.

Will somebody look in your Hotkey folder and see if you have this file?
-
Yes I have service.exe in the hotkey folder.
-
Just to update you, malwarebytes does indicate it as a trojan virus. But when I scan the file with my antivirus it detects nothing.
It could have something to do with malwarebytes updating the program recently and is mistaking it for a virus.
I left it alone and did not delete the file. -
It's no virus alright.
I bet you've got Hotkey 3.xxxx installed.
Check: Software Upgrade or Eurocom P150HM Racer Hotkey Driver v.3.3017 download for Windows 7

It's a driver for Sager's and Eurocom computers as far as I know.
If I'm correct there should be a
C:\Program Files (x86)\Hotkey\ PowerBiosServer.exe in the same folder -
Thanks for confirming!
