I have a Clevo W230SS with the beep and shut down Problem. BIOS was updated, Same thing after that. Also I tried to unplug AC, Battery and BIOS battery. Nothing works.
Google says it's a Problem with a temp sensor. Could That be?

    Temp sensor or fan sensor.

Not without looking at it, you need to check fans, see if everything is seated etc.

Keep the ' Sensors' windows of HWiNFO open and quickly check whether it's still showing fan rpms when the first beeps start. Also check for simple temperature overheating, of course.

The ' no-fan = shutdown' also has a pre-set number of beeps (seconds without a signal), so that too would be a dead giveaway. Have a W230SS as well, so I'll verify the number tomorrow; just have to keep the fan from spinning and see when it shuts off.

    It's 35 blinks+beeps before it shuts off.
