I got my laptop last month. Since I got it new, the monitor was giving me problems. The screen would flick or flash if I move the laptop or if the table that holds the laptop shakes. Any solution or should I call the manufacturer/seller?

Possibly a loose cable. Contact your reseller so see what they suggest. Depending on where you got it they may not care if you open it up to check that cable, but check with them first incase of warranty issues.

Aye, it sounds like the video cable. If your supplier is willing to give you instructions on how to get to the cable to attempt to fix it yourself, then great! Chances are it's too risky and will be best if you send it to them for service, though.

This thread is over 4 months old. I doubt the OP is going to get back to it. My suggestion would be the same as above: check the seating of the video cable at the monitor. It gets tugged on more there than at the board connection.
