Was just wondering how I can get hold of spare screws for the back cover. I stripped one of them, looks like they're not that sturdy (or my screwdriver set is crap :p), so would like to stock a few just in case.

Anyways, I am sure its a generic model, just not sure what to search for on ebay. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Contact your reseller. Or look in the service manual to see what size screws they are. Most of the screws on mine (P151SM1) are M2.5*6L. You can get 100 of those on eBay for like $15.

And for an additional $10-15 buy a Klein multi-bit screwdriver. :p

It seems you know how to use them and not strip out the heads Next video? :D

Wiha makes some excellent small screwdriver sets and multi-bit sets. But definitely not $1 :(

It's just some of the screws are VERY tight from the factory and need a perfect fit to come out.

A little downward pressure while loosening would ensure solid contact and reduced slipping. The right size screwdriver must be used for the perfect fit.

I've just gotten used to pushing down while turning. But yeah, good to have exact size for best chance of getting out those really tight screws.

Just wanted to post here for the record that the screws are indeed M2.5*6, if someone needs them later. I got 10 of them for a couple bucks from ebay. Also got the service manual, handy stuff.

I had to use a serated knife to score one of mine on the VRM graphics section and use a flat head to get it out ^-^. Good old ebay.

Was it the full service manual or just the basic user manual?
