I checked quite recently on Logical Blue One and they already offer it on pre-order.
It's supposed to be the same as the w550eu only 2mm thicker and 100gr more weight.
It has a solid release date but no one besides LBO seem to offer it.

The link to the logical blue site with the item page
    The clevo specs page

    Specs so far:
    i7-3630qm
    nvidia 740m
    8gb 1600Mhz ram
    full HD IPS
    mSata SSD
    2.25kg (2.4kg according to clevo)

I've been looking for an alternative for Vaio s15 with a good screen, slim build and a a better GPU (A smaller bezel as well!).
The only issues which bother me with it so far is that it seem to have the same body as the w550eu and according to some reviews it has a spongy keyboard and according to clevo it's weight stands at 2.4kg which is heavier even than MBP and has max height of 28.5mm which is about as thick as a recent thinkpad.

As there are no reviews yet I have no idea who to trust.

Here are some reviews of the W550EU which theoretically has almost the same chassis and screen:

Clevo W550EU review (PC Specialist ultranote 15) - YouTube

    Here's the image from horize:

I'm not sure what to think. If it's as slim as it's w550 sibling then it's worth it but at the 2.5kg range it is no longer slim and portable.

    EDIT:
According to the clevo page there's a weight difference of 200gr between the w550 and w650
    W650EH: 374(W) x 252(D) x 14 ~ 26.8(H)mm (Height excluded battery area), 2.4kg,including ODD and 48.84WH Battery
    W550EU: 374(W) x 252(D) x 14 ~ 25.4(H)mm (Height excluded battery area), 2.2kg, including ODD and 48.84WH Battery

Anyone else has some more info perhaps?

    EDIT:
Thanks for jack from LBO for those images:

We are actually guaging interest in this guy, we are thinking of maybe ordering some from Clevo for sale, and just want to see what people thought of it, its got a 740m in it so gamer it is not, but yea its basically a W550EU with a 740m in it, and its darker.

It'd probably make for a good business notebook if the price is right.

I found on clevo's site the measurements and the weight but do you have any way to confirm it? 2.4kg is getting a big heavy and has strong competition from the new asus A56 if it actually comes in full HD variant
I'd be quite interested if it is the same chassis as w550 and there were no issues with the IPS panel having orangegate. (The LG panel has some bad reputation)

This looks awesome. I have been looking at the S15 for a while, as a slim, light FHD 15" lappy with some moderate gaming ability is exactly what I want. I haven't pulled the trigger because I wanted something with mSATA/at least a hybrid drive. Was hoping to see some more options with the 7xx series and Haswell, and it looks like this is a great alternative. Gonna keep waiting tho, see what the reviews are like, if anything else comes out, or if the S15 has a nice refresh.

I wish there hadn't been some keyboard problems hinted at with this though, I can't really forgive a mushy keyboard on a $1k+ non ultrabook.

That's a bit disappointing but I guess with the extra components it was to be expected.
1mm difference is not a lot and I dragged my t61 a lot, this shouldn't be much heftier.
Will keep looking for reviews and data :)

Are there any differences on the components used on the lid and maybe on the bottom? Any visual differences between the 550 and 650?

Myth, did you happen to see the laptop in person? I wonder what's the screen like compared to the stock on the p150em.

So far no news of any changes regarding it's hardware.
It's peculiar that the w230st gets a much better GPU while being a 13"
I guess they're aiming at a cooler performance with more battery life.
Could be nice to see at least 750m or 760m on such a machine though.

It's cheaper to make a 15" device so they are targetting a different market segment in a place where there is a lot of competition.

This model does indeed weigh in at 2.25kg as per our listing online. The weight variance would come with:

IPS panel is lighter (and thinner) than TN panel, as the IPS is an option from the Clevo DM.
Our weight is per the mSATA drive and not the Spindle drive

Both of those together give it an official weight of 2.25kg for our model.

Let me know if any questions on this one.

Are there any images of the laptop besides the front one that I have in this post?
Also, is it the same chassis as the W550EU?

As a W550EU owner, I can say that the LCD does have very orangey reds so it's not for graphic designers (what did you expect at this price?), the keyboard isn't ideal but I've been playing games and coding on it with no real issues, just doesn't feel that nice. Also I was wondering why on my device there's a small-ish fan but the PCB has a screened fan area that's far bigger, guess this answers that. I'm kinda wishing I'd waited now because I do far more gaming on this than I'd expected... guess I'll just sell this unit on and buy a W230ST or this.

If you get it, can you do a comparison of the IPS to the AUO B156HW01 V4? From measurements, seems the AUO B156HW01 V4 is about 700:1 contrast, 1.2 million colors, 97% Adobe RGB, .4 cd/m2 black level. If the IPS can exceed that, I'd be very interested to know if it's compatible with other Clevo 15.6" machines. I'd also be interested to know if the IPS is actually worse, other than viewing angles.

Orangegate might be a deal breaker. Damn :|
Did you have any experience with other laptops? Can you compare the keyboard to any other laptop?
I'm moving back and forth between this model and w230st, the biggest issue being the screen quality, keyboard and GPU.
I can make do with an average keyboard but if the screen is so-so I'd definitely go for the w230st.
Was expecting a good IPS panel on a 15".
Will have to see the first reviews before I even consider purchasing it.

I've owned a thinkpad T60, got a P370EM here with the windows 8 keyboard, also got an IBM Model M kicking around. It's incredibly hard to describe keyboards but first off it's definitely worse than any of the machines I've owned but better than some of the machines I've used (acer aspire one netbook for instance, most cheap laptops). It feels a bit worse than a retina macbook. There's no flex which is good, but the travel is extremely shallow, see that picture of the unit? The keys go down as far as the surface around the keys but no further. It's quite soft (not so soft you can't rest your fingers on it) but the activation point is crisp. As a result of the shallow travel it's possible to miss keys but when you get used to it you'll have no problem typing at high speed (I'm a computer science student so I do a lot of coding on it). Keyboard is... less than ideal due to the travel, but it shouldn't be a deal breaker unless you are a journalist or someone else who has to type far more than average on their laptop.

Honestly I'm considering buying a W230ST as well just because I'd like a better GPU and slightly better portability (15" is big), I would have bought a W110ER but the screen was so naff.

Regarding the panel, it's not a bad panel by any means, I've been comparing it to my 27" 2560x1440 korean IPS, whatever the Dell monitors are at uni (24" 1920x1200, IPS, antiglare, think they're 2410HMs but idk), and the Chi Mei 173HGE in my P370EM, it doesn't have much antiglare sparkle compared to the Chi Mei and it's only when it's up against another panel that I notice the reds are a bit off. Have some colour comparison photos. Left is P370EM, bottom is W550EU, top is Crossover 2720MDP (with firmware update): (big image warning) quick colour test of LCD

*edit* weird, apart from the noise those images look fine, yet compared to my nexus 4 the reds seemed very orange...

I'm looking for something thin and light.

Compared to your 27" it doesn't look that good. Was really hoping for 85%+ sRGB coverage.
Can you take some closeups on the keyboard?
I'm currently using t420 and looking for something with decent gaming performance but I love the keyboard and I'm a programmer myself so the keyboard has to be decent.

I had p150em (win 7 version) and the original keyboard was atrocious, the buttons felt rickety and even though the travel was quite long, I kept clicking several buttons at once.
I replaced the keyboard with a steelseries one and loved it but I can't imagine myself going back to a sub-par keyboard.
I like the mbp keyboard and I absolutely love the thinkpad keyboards. The travel isn't as important for me as the material and the solidity of the keys.

We got our shipment of W550EU in, screen is gorgeous, its around 65% NTSC color gamut, the angles are IPS angles, which means they are great. Didn't see any real issues with the color especially after we calibrated it, looks great. Its the thinnest Clevo we have, and weighs the same as a 14" W251 which is crazy :p
