Does anybody have any experience with this notebook? I'm really interested in getting one through prostar. I'd mainly be using it for schoolwork and the occasional spin with GTA:VC and maybe some COD4. I'd also like to put something like Reason or FL Studio on this as well.

    My Questions:

    1) What's the build quality like? Any flex in the keyboard? Any Overheating issues? Battery life?

    2) Is the graphics card enough to handle those games and programs decently? And with this, can you replace the graphics card or is it going to be soldered to the motherboard? I was gonna see if I could find like a GT130M or GT240M to put in there. Im not looking for super high details in everything, just enough to run it good on medium.

    3) Since Im probably going through Pro-Star or xoticpc, would the P9700 processor be overkill in this? Would that start overheating the whole unit? Or would the P8700 be more than enough? I'd like to keep this notebook for a couple of years at least, so I'd like it to be somewhat future-proofed.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me!

The 105M is an integrated card, so you have no chance at upgrading. You might be able to play GTA, but COD4 won't happen.

The KHLB2 is a much better machine.

Huh, never heard of pro-star.. I see they're GSA verified, or whatever, so they're American?

Yeah, located in California. I bought my first M860TU from them.

    Good company.

Hmm that is kind of a downer with the graphics card. I wanted to go with that because of the 1600x900 screen :D, but I would like the computer to be able to handle some games half-decently (especially for the price Im gonna be paying for it).

I will look into the KHBL2. I also see that you have an M860TU, would that fit my needs better also? Any big issues that you notice on your own M860? Keyboard flex? Heat issues? I've heard a few things here and there.

    Thanks for your help!
