In this new BIOS, there's a new Advanced Chipset Control feature added. Inside that submenu, there are 4 settings:

    1.) Turbo Mode (Enabled/Disabled)
2.) No Execute Mode Mem Protection (Enabled/Disabled)
    3.) Intel (R) Virtualization Technology (Enabled/Disabled)
    4.) Vt-d Technology (Enabled/Disabled)
    a.) Pass-Through DMA (Enabled/Disabled)
    b.) Coherency Support (Enabled/Disabled)

I know number 1 should be enabled. What about 2, 3, 4, 4.a, and 4.b? Do they need to be enabled? What are they for?

I don't think you need 3 & 4 since they have something to do with virtual PCs, unless of course you are working on them.

    Alright.

What does NO EMM (2) do anyways?

That I'm not entirely sure, but searching through google, it says that most have it disable by default.

Just a question, any reason of why the changes needed?

It is enabled by default with the BIOS of the W860CU. Nothing, I just want my system optimized?

I have to admit, I know not what a single one of these does. :) Guess there's no need for me to install the update!
