I have a Clevo W870CU. On my notebook, every time the computer starts or is rebooted, the Bluetooh is disabled and has to be manually enabled via the Fn-F12 key combo. Very annoying!

Do I have a defective notebook or does everyone's do this?

If this is standard behavior, Is there a setting or a program that I can drop in StartUp folder to automatically start up the Bluetooth hardware?

    Thanks!

Check the bios? I don't use bluetooth at all, so honestly I'd prefer it to be disabled.

Kind-of stupid -- should be something in BIOS to enable or disable on startup...

I find it annoying also but have found a simple press of the hotkeys (FN+x) during windows boot turns it on. I don't wait for the login window to appear.

I have the same issue but it regards the bisoncam, it is about having to turn it off on every start as i don't want the webcam running if i don't use it.
It is ON after every start. annoying to have to press Fn+F10 on every start.

If you don't use it, just disable it in device manager.

Yes, it's supposed to work that way. Just being powered on is not the same as active. It's not recording or in use at all. Just like your ethernet port is "on" but not active until you plug in a cable.

Unless you're running on battery it shouldn't really make a difference, other than personal preference.

Oki, could be just me being paranoid but i have read about people having there cameras being remote controled since they been infected by trojans, just because the camera was "On" but not in use.
