What does the Hotkey program do? It's a tray icon. Right click and it says Power Conservation Modes. Click that and it has 3 choices
    Normal
    Battery Saver
    and Energy Star

How do each of these choices change the PC? Thank you!

Is it in the manual? To be honest I never opened mine up either, but it would seem to me if that information was anywhere, it would be in the manual.

I assume it's also the thing that displays the little volume/brightness on-screen-display too. Though given that those overlays don't work when you're playing a game, I'm not sure how useful it is.

    More hotkey insanity.

Once in a while, the hotkey program will spawn never-ending icons in the systray. Looking at the task manager, it's still just 1 process running, but this single hotkey process keeps creating new icons in the systray. Does this happen to anyone else?

The only way to fix this is to reboot the PC.

OK, what's happening is the Hotkey program is dying and restarting itself over and over again. Hence, only 1 process shows up in Task Manager. It doesn't happen all the time.

Just wondering if you guys get this problem on the W870CU?
