    Can I use a Crucial RealSSD C300 sata3 128g in my system ? Would it work or it's a waste of money since i would run at sata2 speed ?

    I run it just fine, sure its not at SATA 3 speeds, but buts its plenty fast even at SATA 2 speeds.

    The Vertex 2 line is faster than the C300's on a SATA II interface.

    Either way, it's going to be monumentally faster than your current hard drive.

    I will look for the vertex 2. Any other brand is recommanded ?

    Also, Can i do a raid with SSD ?

    You can, but you lose TRIM support. Take a look in the SSD thread, all the answers you need should be in there.
