Bought the W870CU through ibuypower. Just received it yesterday, and it worked fine for about 8 hours, now it wont power on at all. Whenever i plug the AC adapter to the computer, the LED on the adapter will go out, and will not reset until I unplug and replug it back up. I thought this would just be a bad power brick, but, the computer will not boot up on battery power either. No lights or anything when pushing power button. The last thing I did to the computer before this problem was replace thermal paste on the CPU. Is there anything simple it may be or should I start RMA process?

    hi and welcome to nbr
could still be the power brick thats the problem and the battery is drained so wont power on.
just hope they cover the warranty as youve changed the thermal paste as ive read on here ages ago where the company voided the warranty due to the owner changing the paste and causing the cpu to die.

i dont know anything about ibuypower so hopefully someone else can advise.
    good luck
