    Hey people! i just got an email from Justin stating that it was confirmed WSXGA are shipping next week!!! WOOT!!!! This might as well be the official NP5790 WSXGA lounge, since we're the last ones to get hte lappy... :D
    I'm going to go get me a WoW box, mouse and a router...

    Sweet... But which WSXGA screens are shipping next week? The Matte ones? or the glossy ones? I ordered mine with a glossy one so I hope they will come next week... :rolleyes:

    meh screw the lounge.....as soon as I'll get mine I'll prob won't have any time to be here...will be playing WoW :D
    Justin said they'll start shipping out mid week (next week duh :D)...so I'm aiming to get it late next or early week after next...GOD PLEASE!!!

    Oh and BTW I'm getting a finger print reader....

    So you guys all got emails from Justin telling you that you're getting the fp reader and it's shipping next week? How come I didn't get one.. :confused: I'm pretty sure I ordered mine last week with a glossy WSXGA screen. Or is this just for the matte WSXGA people? :confused:

    yeh...same...cuz I would ve flipped if it would have another week delay...this is taking too long seriously...but finally...let's all hope nothing else will pop up and delay the delivery...it august for gaming sakes...school starts soon...

    That's actually what I did a few months ago. However after installing vista and xp a few weeks later I found myself using xp for everything (because I liked gaming a lot and it takes too long to shut down vista and restart to xp when I finished working and wanted to game... :rolleyes: )

    I see... I remembered reading from a magazine that Microsoft will continue to support XP to 2009 or something and SP 3 for XP is going to come out early 2008... So I guess there's nothing to worry about XP getting killed too soon...lol ;)

    I'm just waiting for the driver and software support for Vista to get a little bit better before I make the switch. Really, the only thing making me consider switching is the 4gb ram support for x64 vista (ok, there might be a few other reasons too :p )....but since I don't plan on using that much ram any time soon I'll stick with XP :)

    How did we all get the sh** end of the stick. Was I wrong in the belief that when I ordered mine back on June 24th I would be rewarded with one of the first units since I pre-ordered so early?!?!?!? I "might" have ordered mine early enough to get the 7950GTX but all of these "might"s and "should"s are piling up to nothing so I think I will be waiting longer or upgrading by the end of the week.

    I'm glad to hear someone's is shipping. I ordered from Sager with the 8700 so hopefully mine will be shipping soon too, I leave for school next Thursday. Good thing I did next day shipping.

    Mine showed up yesterday and I am not going to lie, this beast was totally worth the wait. The matte screen is amazing and the image quality is really sharp and good looking. I am really happy that I didn't change to WUXGA.
