    Ladies, Gentlemen, Rabble:

You've all helped quite a bit, and I'll be purchasing my 5797 in the next few days but I have one - and only one - question before I pay my entry fee to join your club.

I am on the fence between choosing the WXSGA+/WUXGA monitor. My main concern is how WUXGA would look playing future games at non-native resolutions.

Does anyone have any screenshots of how running apps in nonnative resolution looks? How much more intensive is running applications on the WUXGA as compared to the WXSGA+? Would it place a noticeably greater strain on the 9800M GTX?

I'm asking. Begging! I'm down on my knees (and I looked at her and she at me!!)! /lola moment

Thanks for your time and whatever help may be offered, and happy new year to all.

To be honest, at this point, the only game I've played in native WUXGA resolution was UT '99, after applying the graphical patch for recent systems. Everything else draws the line at 1600 width. Keep in mind, the WUXGA screens are 16:10 and not 16:9 when you're using a lower resolution.
