Let me tell you my sad story, I wanted sobad to have an alienware for nearly 2 years now,I went for wanting the aurora m9700 to the area 51 m9750 to the area 51 m17x, finally in october of last year i got the chance of buying a fancy looking m17x with dual 8700's (I couldn't buy the dual 9800's because of the budget but I was thinking of upgrading it later) and bought it from the alienware page.

I had one of the worst buying experience I had in my entire 20 years of life, a few days later I recieved an email from Alienware's sales department informing me that I had given them a wrong PH#, which still today I don't know what the hell is that supposed to mean, in any case they sayed that my order will be canceled in 24 hours if I didn't responded them, so I reply to their email asking what was PH# and I recieved a response saying that I should expect an answer within 72 hours!!!.

Then, fearing that my order would be cancelled I chatted with a "qualified" sales support agent and asked him what PH# was, and that very "qualified" man responded me "for a more precise answer call the number 1800 XXXXX" I don't remember what the nunmber was, but the number didn't worked because I live outside the US, so I chatted again with another "qualified" sales agent and he responded the exact same thing (a very astonishing and breath-taking quest only achieved with the magic of copy-paste).

I went on and on trying to find out what PH# meant unti 2 days later I recieved an email form alienware saying that my order was cancelled, but inviting me to make it again, so the idiot that I am did it again, and I assumed PH# meant PHone number, so I gaved the number with the complete state code which I didn't the last time, and aparently the problem was solved!!!.

Wrong I was, a week or two went by and nothing happened, the order was still on phase 1, and they didn't charge the amount on the credit card, so finally my father became worried and asked me to cancel the order, so I mailed them and asked them to cancel my order, and I got a response from them saying that the order was already cancelled!!!, so as mad as I was, I still wanted to buy an alienware so I contacted a friend of my father who could lend me a hand buying my lappy, but then the unthinkable tragedy happened, alienware aparently wanted to get rid of their m9750 and they offered m17x systems only with 9800's at nearly $4000, according to my research the m9750 can't be upgraded to dual 9800's.

Cursing alienware to my last breath, I began to look for alternatives, so I began to cling towards sager, which I had known for at least some time after I knew alienware but even seeing that they were better and they costed less I was blinded by my alienware-fever, so I began to research a lot from them and I was convinced by many of the posts I red in this forum, finally, a week ago I ordered my NP9262 from Xotic pc, great customer service that didn't took 72 hours to answer my emails, I asked it with 1gb of video(9800's), core 2 duo 3.16ghz, 4gb of ram and 250gb HD, I will be getting it on monday, hopefully this laptop won't let me down.

The NP9262 seems to have a very difficult time letting people down. It will go above and beyond the call of duty for your needs. And Shyster is correct in saying that waiting is the hardest part.
