Has anyone been able to successfully boot a w860cu using Wake On Lan by ethernet?
I have not found any such option in the BIOS (which actually has VERY FEW options).

The magic packet I send works just fine on my desktop (I had enabled WoL in the BIOS and forwarded to a door at the router).

Please let me know if you know how to make it work.

You can find out pretty quick if the card supports it by going to control panel > network and sharing center > network connections > right click on local area connection, properties > configure > advanced. It should list a wake on lan option down there to enable if it's supported.

BTW, while you're there (and if you've got gigabit) if you disable all the checksum and send offloads as well as flow control, you'll get much faster throughput.
