So I'm looking for a gaming/business laptop and I've narrowed it down to either the Clevo P950 or 955 or Gigabyte Sabre 15. Got some questions about the Clevos. I especially can't find anything on the 955 so if anyone has one that would be great.
(going to be GTX 1060 on all options)

First of all I'm not really sure what the difference is between the two Clevos options -- can anyone illuminate?

Also I've heard Clevo has some issues with the fan being loud. Is this true & how bad is it? Something to take into consideration? I'll be using it for office work/library research so it might be a minor concern. The P950 (Schenker review) seems to have this but I can't really find any reviews about the 955.

Also have an option to get a hexacore i7 Clevo for basically the same price. Worth considering? I've heard it's not much difference for gamers but would it be good for future games? Is this something to consider?

Finally, what sort of displays should I be looking for? Here are the options:
    15.6" FHD IPS (1920x1080) non-glare LED (300cd/m2 72% NTSC)
    15.6" FHD TN (1920x1080) non-glare LED 120Hz 5ms (+59.00€)
    AUO 15.6" 4K IPS (3840x2160) non-glare LED (+129.00€)

I'll be gaming and doing word processing but I want a machine that can last. Also, I'm thinking of getting a larger external monitor, with this in mind, do I need to consider anything about the resolution etc?

    Thank you!

I think the P955 are workstations with the quadro card.

120Hz is great for gaming but the IPS panel is going to be nicer for day to day tasks.

Under stress, you might get around 40dbA in fan noise, which some would consider loud. During office work/library research (light use), the emissions will be a lot quieter. IMO, 4K is kind of redundant on 15" screen, but to each their own.

Possibly. That depends on the kind of deal you're talking about (model, configuration, etc.).

    Thanks for the replies!

The hexacore is the P950HP6, with GTX1060. It will end up being about the same price. According to the seller the main diff between 950 and 955 is the case design (950 has the angular thing while 955 is flat). Also it seems the 950 has a slightly better battery -- 63 wh vs 57 wh. Reviews said the 955 can only last 3 hours or so which is a little bit underwhelming ... would be nice for something that lasts a bit longer.

Won't get a fancy screen then, you're right the 15'' is too small to tell a difference, and besides graphics is not super important to me.
