    Hi guys,
This is my question/s. Let say that my lappie comes defected like others here. Who is responsible of fixing it. Will it be Sager itself or the reseller. The reason i am asking this is to have an idea who will be responsible of having it running again. Also i live in california and Sager is not far from where i live. Driving Distance. THey are located in City of Industry and i don't really driving there. since they are 20 minutes away from me. In case my laptop needs fixing will i need to ship it to xoticpc or just dropped it off at sager. Driving will cost me 20 dollar in Gas also i can visit my friend at the same time or Shipping out, looking around 100 dollars. I preferred the driving.

You have to call XoticPc about that, I think it depends on what`s broken. Sager does the hardware changes, I know that for a fact since they are the suppliers...appart from that, dunno.

Generally, if something needs repaired that you cannot do yourself (such as swap out a hard drive or memory stick) you will have to send it into Sager. However, don't contact Sager directly yet, contact your reseller first.

As far as driving to Sager and dropping it off, I am not sure. Best to ask a reseller or Sager directly.

From my experience XOTIC will make an attempt to fix it over the phone. If this can not be done they will put you in contact with Sager. From that point on it will be up to them. I am not sure about their policy you will have to ask them.

i bought mine from xotic and i have been able myself to just call sager and tell them it was bought from xotic and they said no problem and i went straight through them after that. the unit would get shipped back to sager anyway even if you bought it from xotic so there should be 0 issues with it going straight to sager, the only thing you need to check on is if sager will take walk in stuff or if no matter where you are it has to be shipped to them. that would be my only question.
