I heard earlier that there was going to be a price cut on Intel's Desktop processors.Yet I cant find anything that says the new prices. I'm hoping it will effect the Sager NP9260, as I am really close to buying it (waiting for the 8700). Do you think that the 2.93 X6800 will be cut anytime today or soon?

Xtreme CPU prices don't drop, the CPUs just get phased out. They are usually replaced with CPUs of the same speed but with locked multipliers.

As it turns out the price cut does not affect either the processors for the NP9260 or any laptop processors.
