    Hey guys,
I have a Sager NP9262 (without a TV tuner) and I want to hook up my ATT Uverse receiver to my laptop to watch TV on it. I was wondering if there is any way I can use my laptop monitor to watch TV. Preferably, I would like the ability to watch in 1080p cause my screen is 1920x1200.

Extra hardware is OK as long as it uses USB or the Express Slot. I am also open to internal parts since I have an open mini-PCI express slot.

    Thanks in advance!

I was thinking of getting a TV tuner, but none that I can find support HDMI.

Out of my many hours of research for an HDMI input device for laptops I found an answer-it doesn't exist :( (no ps3 on laptop for me...).

If you just want HD tv then get a USB HD tv tuner. If you have basic cable, HD is free, you just search for digital+analog channels and you will get 7.1,11.1, etc.
